ORTHOPEDIC SURGEON - BAHRAIN


Private clinic in Manama, Bahrain is urgently looking for an Orthopaedic Doctor / Surgeon


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Study patients’ medical histories, then meet with them to discuss their complaints and symptoms

• Examine or supervise the examination and diagnostic testing of patients

• Make diagnoses, and recommend surgery or other treatments

• Schedule facilities and medical staff for operations

• Perform surgical and non-invasive procedures, and supervise others

• Prescribe drugs and supplements

• Create postoperative-care plans, and recommend lifestyle changes involving diet, exercise, and other matters

• Supervise the education of residents and medical students

• If in private practice, perform business functions like finance and management

• Ensure accurate and complete recordkeeping

• Conduct research and receive continuing education

SKILLS REQUIREMENT: Orthopaedic Doctor/Surgeons must have a thorough understanding of current medical technologies, medical ethics, pharmacology and physiology. A particular aptitude for musculoskeletal health, disease prevention and treatment is essential. An orthopaedic career also requires an ability to work long hours and make solid decisions under pressure and must stay abreast of new developments in the orthopaedic field.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: The Orthopaedic Doctor/Surgeon will have a medical degree, specializing in orthopaedics and preferable additional training in any subspecialty of orthopaedic including sports medicine with minimum 5-7 years of experience in a reputed hospital/clinic.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Business / Finance graduate (MBA would be preferred).

• Must have 15 to 20 years top executive level leadership experience in Banking, with at least 5 years within Islamic Banking - Sharia’a compliant Corporate, Retail and Investment Banking in the GCC.

• Ideally you will currently hold a C-level position within an Islamic Bank now.

• Must have a strong background in treasury.
